Printing by the pantone NO., also called spot color printing. For a designed color, before printing, we first dispense the ink of this color according to the ratio of the ink, and then print it separately on the printing machine, instead of using the four basic colors of CMYK for four superimposed printing.

When will pantone NO. colors be used?

1. Single-color or two-color  paper box or paper bag, tissue paper, hang tags: only 1-2 colors, you can use a single-color/two-color printing machine to reduce printing costs.

2. In order to achieve a better effect of large-area color blocks: four-color printing uses dot superimposition. If large-area color blocks are printed with spot colors, the colors can be more standard and the solid effect can be better;

3. The color requirements are very high: such as corporate standard colors, the designer will specify the Pantone spot color value. Four-color ink printing of different batches of printed products will inevitably have deviations, and Pantone color values are universal, and Pantone ink manufacturers are professionally deployed, which can minimize color deviation.

4. Need to use special spot color ink: special gold, special silver, fluorescent ink, etc., all of which cannot be mixed with CMYK four-color ink, so you need to use spot color printing.

Note: NO.2, NO.3, NO.4 point spot color printing needs to increase the number of printing, and the use of Pantone, special gold, special silver, fluorescent and other special inks will increase the printing cost.
